We are actively seeking a Digital Project Manager who is ready to take on challenging projects, drive innovation, and lead our dynamic initiatives from conception to completion. It would be useful if you also had experience of working within the Digital Service Standard but not essential!

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience

Essential Skills

  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrable experience in managing digital projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of the technologies used in the projects you manage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders and manage client communications.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic approaches to solve problems, manage project risks, and foresee potential issues before they become problems.
  • Time Management: Skills in prioritising tasks and managing time effectively, especially when handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Tools Proficiency: Experience with project management tools like JIRA, and familiarity with other collaboration tools such as Slack or Microsoft Teams.

  • Leadership: Experience in leading project teams and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Change Management: Skills in managing changes to project scope or direction effectively, minimising disruptions and maintaining project momentum.

  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate vast amounts of data and business processes and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development processes, which are often used in digital project management.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) which validate project management and agile practices expertise.
